Taste 2010

The great event returns with Italian and international high gastronomy. With an attendance of 8,000 at the last edition and over 170 exhibitors, this taste and idea show is a reference for Italian and international operators in the sector. Taste was conceived by Davide Paolini (Radio24's "Gastronaut") and is organized by Pitti Immagine; Florence's Leopolda Station will be the backdrop for this itinerary of tastings, discoveries and purchases of excellent gastronomic products from all over Italy. But the pleasures of wine and food are not Taste's only focus. In fact, the show is also a place for cultural-gastronomic debate. The previous edition featured discussions (Taste Ring) of the trends and styles of the new culture of taste, exhibits of creative craft and design objects (Taste Tools) and, finally, an area dedicated to publishing and documentation. So, there are all the ingredients for imagining a similarly engaging 2010 edition. In addition, during Taste's last week, there will be various collateral events (the "Out of Taste Events") that will transform Florence into the city of taste.
