Dialogues between speakers, between disciplines, between speakers and audience, because the important thing is dialogue, in order to better understand, learn and discuss.
And 'This is the starting point of Pistoia ¯ Dialogues man, animated by a commitment to cultural and civic life and the desire to involve as wide an audience as possible during three days of meetings, lectures, performances and readings.
A new festival dedicated to cultural study of contemporary anthropology and sociology, which wants to offer new views on those who participate in human societies, comparing experts from different fields in an interview that cross disciplinary boundaries and proposes new readings of the world surrounds us.
The common thread and theme founding of this first edition will be the identity, a central issue now and urgently present. Talk about identity means to speak of ourselves and of others that are more of us, to racism and intolerance, democracy and justice, but also of the Internet, the landscape, literature and contributing to our cultural identity.
The program will guest on the streets of the historic center of Pistoia, anthropologists, sociologists, philosophers, scientists, thinkers Italians and foreigners, who will offer, with a language more accessible and understandable, testimonials, new tools and incentives to better understand the reality of 'contemporary man and society in which we live.
