Creativity Festival 2008 - Visions, voyages, discoveries
The Creativity Festival will be held from October 23 to 26, 2008 at the Fortezza da Basso.
The name chosen for this edition is Visions, voyages, discoveries.Visions of the future, voyages in time and space, discoveries and inventions in every knowledge field will be the key elements in an experiment which will once again transform Florence into a laboratory open to contemporary actions, projects and languages.
The Creativity Festival will include more than 400 events packed with shows, concerts, performances and study sessions on creative thought in all contexts, attracting 1,600 artists, politicians, socialites and musicians.
The Festival presents a multimedia show dedicated to the history's greatest visionaries from Isaac Asimov to Philip K. Dick, from George Orwell to Jules Verne.
For the first time, the 2008 Festival will be partnered with Eurochocolate in Perugia based on the idea that chocolate is not just an everyday product that evokes the sensations and fragrances of far away worlds but a raw material with which designers, artists and creative minds of all ages can work.
